President Menjay Attends Coronation of Paramount Chief Yaba Wilson

WVSTU: The President of William V. S. Tubman University, Dr. Olu Q. Menjay, today joined traditional leaders and government officials at the coronation of Paramount Chief Yaba Wilson of Nyemoweh Chiefdom in Big Town, Maryland County.

The ceremony brought together a large gathering of dignitaries, including county officials, invited guests from Monrovia and Ivory Coast, residents of the chiefdom, as well as the County Superintendent's delegation.

Chief Yaba Wilson, a known friend and supporter of the University, was warmly celebrated as he assumed leadership of Nyemoweh Chiefdom.

Speaking briefly, Dr. Menjay congratulated the new Paramount Chief and commended the community's longstanding relationship with the University. "Tubman University is deeply rooted in the goodwill of the people of Big Town. This partnership remains central to our mission of advancing education and development," he said.

The County Superintendent, Hon. Henry Cole also extended congratulations to Chief Wilson and encouraged him to demonstrate leadership anchored in accountability, service, and unity for the benefit of Nyemoweh Chiefdom.
