WVSTU: Tubman University, through its Entrepreneurship, Innovation & Incubation Center (EIIC), has successfully concluded its inaugural Entrepreneurship Week, held from March 29 and April 6-9, 2026, under the theme "Beyond the Classroom: Igniting Innovation, Empowering Entrepreneurs."

The event brought together students, faculty, business leaders, and community members, featuring practical workshops, an innovation exhibition, and a pitching competition aimed at strengthening entrepreneurship and innovation.

EIIC Director Ben K. Collins said the initiative also reached surrounding communities, where leaders of 36 Village Savings and Loan Associations representing nearly 3,000 women were trained in financial literacy and enterprise development.

At the opening ceremony, Olu Q. Menjay challenged students to become job creators, noting that Liberia is filled with opportunities. The Director announced at the close that Entrepreneurship Week will now be held annually, reinforcing the university's commitment to building a strong entrepreneurial ecosystem.
