Harper, Maryland County - February 14, 2025 - Dr. Olu Q. Menjay, President of Tubman University, has expressed profound appreciation to Hon. Anthony F. Williams, Representative of Pleebo-Sodoken District #2, for his generous donation of a 27-seater bus to the university.
In a letter dated February 14, 2025, Dr. Menjay emphasized the significant impact the donation will have on improving student mobility and accessibility to campus.
"Your generosity will greatly enhance our ability to provide reliable and safe transportation for students commuting to and from campus," Dr. Menjay wrote. "Transportation is a critical component of education, and your support demonstrates a deep commitment to the success and well-being of our students", he continued.
He further stated that the bus donation aligns perfectly with Tubman University's mission."This contribution will make a meaningful difference in the lives of our students, and we are deeply grateful for your dedication to advancing education in our community," Dr. Menjay added
