In addition to Brenda's selection, TU students Enniamene P. Gbarclay and Eunice Q. Gebur have been named as alternate candidates for the program. As alternates, they remain on standby and may be invited to participate should additional openings become available.

The SUSI Program is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State and implemented through the U.S. Embassy in Monrovia. It is designed to develop leadership skills, deepen participants' understanding of U.S. culture and values, and foster long-term collaboration between the U.S. and future global leaders, with a focus on economic empowerment.
Brenda's selection underscores Tubman University's commitment to academic excellence, student success, international engagement, and the empowerment of young women through meaningful learning opportunities.
